Richard L.Tate has more than 30 years of experience in Fort Bend County.

Founded by Richard L. “Dick” Tate in 1985, for more than 30 years, Mr. Tate has represented clients in Fort Bend County in a wide-variety of matters, including partnership disputes, misappropriation of trade secrets, breaches of contract, construction defects, injunctions, probate and probate litigation, guardianship litigation, real estate and business transactions, civil appeals, and personal jurisdiction challenges.

After graduating from The University of Houston School of Law in 1979, Dick Tate began his law career in the Houston office of Liddell Sapp, LLP. He moved his practice to Fort Bend County in 1985 and has more than 35 years of civil litigation experience, including representing both plaintiffs and defendants in trials, arbitrations, mediations and countless settlements. Dick is also a Certified Mediator.
